Far from simply looking at buildings and listening to a few anecdotes, you will learn about life in Kigali during several different periods and begin to understand the impact each era had on the Rwandan people.
On arrival at the Kigali Airport or pick up from your Hotel, you will be met by our safari guide who will give you a short briefing then drive through Kigali for a short city tour then after drive to Akagera National Park. The drive takes you to the East of Rwanda to Akagera National Park bordering Tanzania, which has beautiful undulating plains with dense, broad-leafed woodland, lighter acacia woodland and rolling grassland with an extensive series of lakes linked by papyrus swamps forming a sprawling wetland.
Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge
Have an early morning game drive in the park. The game drives will involve seeing hippos, elephants, buffalos, giraffe, hyenas, crocodiles and many other animals plus bird life. After a late breakfast, you may decide to go for nature or have a relaxed moment at the lodge while preparing for the canoe ride on Lake Ihema in the afternoon.

After breakfast you will drive back to Kigali for drop off at the Airport or your Hotel in Kigali, depending on your departure flight time you will have a local lunch then proceed to the airport for your flight out to end the 3 Days Akagera National Park Wildlife Safari in Rwanda.
