These 7 days safaris will give you the lifetime experience in terms of leisure and adventure. You will experience different activities including primates trekking, nature walks, hiking, biking, Caving, Canoeing and visit different heritage sites to learn more about history and the lifestyles of Rwanda.
Our Diver/Guide will pick you from your Airport/Homestay/ Hotel and drive you to Musanze; 2hrs drive from Kigali. After lunch, we will have a tour of Musanze city, the second biggest city in Rwanda after Kigali and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. At 15:00, we will have boat tour in Mukungwa river.
After breakfast at 06 AM, we drive to Twin lakes (Burera and Ruhondo) and have a short hike that will reward us with be beautiful view of Musanze city. After, we will have boat tour in ruhondo lake with local guide, and learn more about the history and biodiversity of those lakes. Afternoon, we will connect with local communities , to learn how banana beer are made, and taste it. Late afternoon, we will drive in Musanze city at hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we drive to RDB headquarter in Kinigi for registration and briefing before trekking. You will meet Mountain gorilla in their habitat and learn more about their behavior, ecology as well as taking picture which may take between 1-4 hours. After lunch at 3:00 PM, we will drive to the Gorilla Guardian Village, where we will enjoy traditional wedding, Local food & Beer preparation and you will have the authentic experience of the Rwandan culture and history from the former poachers of the gorillas. Late afternoon, we drive back to Hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will drive to Burera, 45 min from Musanze city. Our tour will start by having pilgrimage tour to experience cultural diversity, traditional beliefs of Rwandans. After have the handcraft making experience with the local communities and have experience on how most of the Rwandan traditional materials are made. After, we will drive back at Hotel in the Musanze city for Dinner and Overnight.
After Breakfast at 08:00am we will drive to Rugezi nature trail to enjoy hike to the heritage center where we will be able to encounter different colorful birds, conservation awareness of Rugezi marshland and community experience, after enjoying the birding we will also enjoy the canoeing in the Mukungwa river as we end that day’s tour and drive back to Hotel for Dinner and Overnight.
After breakfast at 6:00 AM, we drive at RDB Headquarter for registration and briefing. Bisoke Volcano is at 3711 m above sea level and is at border between DR Congo and Rwanda. Accommodation and diner at Hotel for Dinner and Overnight
After breakfast, we will drive to Musanze Caves formed due to earthquakes. It also to hold considerable significance to local community. After lunch, we will drive back to Kigali and drops you at your International airport/Hotels/ Homestay.
